Jeff Pegg’s specs :
I wanted a standard weight for a mallet putter, which would stand alone on any legal green , even with some breeze. I wanted a putter with good MOI ( Moment of Inertia) facilitating a good pendulum move and the smooth follow-through that any good golfer wants.
The result :
The PEGG PUTTER weight is in the range of most mallet putters on the market. ( 575 g or 600 g depending of the grip you select)
But its weight is concentrated in the 495 g head ( 80%) thus the gravity center is much lower and close to the ground.
The horseshoe design transfers 50% of the head mass on the two ends of the face . This design provides a high MOI and a better stability of the face at impact.
